INSPIRATION, PROGRESS

No Time to Fall Off

I’ve been off the internet for a few weeks but my training hasn’t suffered.  Actually its gotten better.  I’m settled into my new gym, and I’m truly pushing harder than I ever have before.  I know this is the off season, but as I said before, I’m doing something different this year.  Instead of eating like a fat fuck and being lax on my workouts, I’m going to continue to lift a high volume routine.  I’m keeping my diet on point, but increasing calories (cleanly.)  I’m drinking 2 gallons of water daily and haven’t had alcohol in months.  I’m slimming down in the gut which is always nice.

The thing is, I’ve noticed a drop off in the gym as the summer winds down.  People return to school and other things, sure I get that, but think of the jump you’ll have on summer 2019 if we keep up the intensity.   Granted, Im not doing the insane workouts that WB gives us to do in peak season, but it will be enough to keep making progress and have a good template going into that.   One milestone I’m noticing is that my slow to grow traps are finally starting to make progress. I’ve been assaulting my shoulders each week and its finally paying off.   I think for a lot of people, the end of summer signifies a time that you can get lazy and fuck off, and for a while I did, but I’m laser focused as of late.  Not giving a fuck about anything but training, nutrition and killing it in life.

You motherfuckers got this shit, I’ve seen everyone here change over the past 9 months. Its gonna be cold AF before you know it.  People are going to rationalize all their shitty, lazy, gluttonous behaviors, only to spend January 1st through the 16th in the gym, then quit again.  This is a lifestyle, not a hobby and its taken me a while to understand that, but I’m hooked.
