FITNESS

Onward and Upward

Man, it sure has been a while since I posted. Things have been really busy. I have so many great posts sitting in the brain box, but just haven’t had the time or energy to get them out. It will happen. In the meantime, let’s recap.

Holy shit, we are starting the 4th week of the second part of WBF: 73024752. This means we are 14 weeks in. There is something magical happening. This program is working faster and with more progress than anything I have ever created before. I don’t know wtf is going on sometimes. Usually I am not in my Jed North gym clothes until after Easter, but I’ve been in them  for a month already.

Jed North gets the official WBF nod as best all around workout gear. I am in no way affiliated, paid by or know anyone who works for them….their shit is just awesome: Jed North Shorts

While I am nowhere near where I want to be as a finished product, I am so far ahead of schedule I am shocked — and it is not just me. Team WB Fitness members chiming in with the same. Results abound. In the 13 weeks we have knocked out I have seen drastic change on people following the program.

I really do believe that this spring and summer we will see the full potential of all the theory that goes into WBF unleashed. Lets rain fire you mother fuckers.

In the meantime, remember to eat right….and for fucks sake avoid fads. Keto, Caveman, Fat Free — we will talk about this in an upcoming article on bugaboos — it is all bullshit. Prioritize protein and be reasonable with carb intake, drink your two gallons of water, make every lift count and do not forget the cardio. If you stop seeing gains get in touch, there will always be plateaus and we will work around them — do not do a juice cleanse. Do not fast. Stay away from anything that isn’t simply eating good, healthy foods and for the love of fucking god stop being such wusses about it and drink your fucking 2 gallons of water every day.

One more thing I want to point out today and then hopefully resume a schedule of regularly paced posts aimed at specific things: When you don’t feel like going to the gym, go anyway. I had this issue a few times…yesterday in particular was rough. I just did not want to go. But once my shoes were on it all changed. The weekly challenge forced my adrenaline and I felt 10 feet tall.

Make sure you are there, you can’t do shit if you aren’t. And when you are there remember….contract, stretch,

“Some people say Sunday is a day of rest. I say if you eat, sleep, and breathe on Sunday, why not train? What are you doing today?”
-Arnold

contract, stretch. Without focus on the muscle, without the contraction and the stretch at the top and bottom of the lift….you are just moving shit around. The focus IS NOT THE WEIGHTS. Your hands are just big dopey hooks holding something heavy enough to create a little extra resistance against the muscle when you contract and stretch. It’s time guys, no fucking around. The focus IS NOT THE WEIGHTS….it is the muscle.

So here it is, it comes down to one thing….what do you want? If you want this badly enough it is yours for the taking. I consider Easter a second first day….this is when we take stock and see what we can do. We are just ramping up still. Do you want this? Do you want it badly? Are you willing to spend most of your days feeling like you just got hit by a bus? Are you willing to endure the aches and pains and giving things up that you want? Is it worth it for you? If it is, you have the blueprint…..lets make this shit happen.
