Hello Team WB!

So this year is the 5th year that WB Fitness has been a formal group and the 6th year since it was just NYX and I. It will also be the 14th year of my own journey through bodybuilding and fitness.

This year there will be some massive changes and so I want to give you a broad heads up on what WBF V: 73024752 will look like.

The first thing you should know is that we are going to be getting rid of the long rest period. No more inert recovery time. As the name suggests, WBF 5 is going to be a 52 week program.

This doesn’t, of course, mean we will be at competition level training all year every year only that training will look more like a bell curve with the intensity being dialed back at times to allow for recovery time which is active along with alternating moderate weight lifting with more intense programs.

Please keep in mind that we are still 730 all the way. For those of your who don’t know the term 730, it is derived from the motion in criminal trials for fitness to proceed. Essentially, it is pleading insanity and that is what I expect from all of you.

Do not concern yourself with the mewing of lesser mortals. The weak want everyone to be weak because they lack the fortitude to become strong.

least. Yes, this program will make you healthier but this is not the goal. The goal is more about your mental health. WB Fitness is for people who truly need this as an outlet. You will get stronger, you will have a better cardio vascular system, you will loose fat and gain muscle and you will look fucking ripped, but all of this is merely side effects. The main goal is to take you animals and focus your rage, focus your passion and anger and use it in a productive way.

I want you all to grow as men, calm your minds, understand the bonds of brotherhood that comes from the work we put in. As the world becomes more hostile to masculinity the only two options are to bend over or be hostile back. I suggest the road of hostility. But we aren’t animals to randomly be hostile, we are going to focus it. Learn to control it. Use our hostility, use our anger and passion in a productive way in and out of the gym.

So it is 730 time. Train insane or remain the same. So it is time to be 730, 24/7 for the next 52 weeks.

The program start date will be December 14th. I am going to get the program out to you guys in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime I recommend putting the weights aside and doing as much cardio as possible. I am currently doing 90 minutes on the stair climber every day and I recommend you do the same. Don’t worry about weight or body composition. That will all come. I know you guys are geared up, 2020 and all the bullshit it brought along with it took a lot from us. The gyms closing hurt. The world closing hurt worse. But it’s time to deal with it. Blaming yesterday’s stupidity does absolutely nothing to help tomorrow. Team WB Fitness is coming for everything that 2020 said we couldn’t have.

I welcome anyone who wants to come along on this voyage. As always, the only cost to you is that you put it all on the line. We won’t be doing this like a Chinese menu where you pick and chose what you want. The program is not just a list of workouts — it is a philosophy and a life style and if you aren’t ready for that Kris Gethin and Jim Stoppani both have excellent programs for both shredding and bulking that I would happily point you in the direction of.

On December 14 we start the the program that will be broken up into 3 phases. Phase One is the main bodybuilding program and is itself broken into three sections. Phase One is a 30 week bodybuilding program in three 10 week sections which will test you mentally and physically and should you put everything into it you will see the absolute peak results of what your body has to offer. Phase Two will be a 12 week weightlifting program broken into two six week sections. The first six week section will begin by changing the nature of the weightlifting to a maintenance level rather than competitive bodybuilding training. The second six week section will reduce the amount of weightlifting and bring up the amount of cardio. Phase Three will be a 10 week cardio and abs only phase which will allow for muscles to get some rest from the weight while keeping the body ready for action and the body fat relatively low.

And that will be it. 52 weeks of training at which point it will be time to beging WBF 6 2022.

Fuck Rest. Get your cardio in now. Get that heart rate under control. You will be testing yourself and I need you all to pass this test.
