Weekend Challenge and Open Forum

It is Friday again and as we go into the weekend, I want to remind you guys not to toss your hard earned gains out the window. As it turns out, with regard to diet and exercise, Friday night through Sunday does actually count. To keep your hustle up and keep that diet on point.

Today’s weekend challenge is going to be an interesting one. One thing I like to do is to build a workout are a superset using the constituent components of the superset to both build up to and wind down with the superset itself stuck right in the middle.

Yesterday we were talking about the dumbbell pullover and how it is was once seen as close to the squat in importance as well as mentioning how well those two moves pair with one another. So let’s take a look at today’s superset. I really would love to know how you guys do with it. I think you are going to have a lot of fun.

 

Squat and Pullover Workout

Barbell Squats 20, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 (increase weight in order to maintain 9 RPE)

1 min rest

Dumbbell Pullover 20, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 (increase weight in order to maintain 8 REP)

Superset. 3 x 10 (45 second rest between supersets)

Barbell Squat

Dumbbell Pullover
