Miserable Monday

Did you go a little too hard for Sunday Funday?

Well, if you did and you are having Miserable Monday remember, push through it. Get your gallon of water down today. Make good choices about food and make sure you get in your workout.

It is important that every day you  make yourself sweat, challenge your body and your mind and conquer something.

Like Rocky, another fan of the wife beater, said “going in one more round when you don’t think you can. That’s what makes all the difference in your life.”

So today I want to challenge you.

Grab a 10 pound dumbbell. You are going to do some curls and kickbacks. Sounds easy right? But this is Massive Volume Training and this is one of my favorite challenges.

Well I can’t say that my Monday was truly miserable until…I dropped the weight and increased the reps / sets this morning. I have been doing a variation of the Max-OT routine for the past few months. I am transitioning into high volume training now.

I can tell you this, I don’t have to wait for DOMS to let me know I had a work out of sufficient intensity this morning. It left my legs shaking and muscle soreness set in almost immediately. The pain should be exquisite about two days from now. I will report back, but WB…I am only one day in and I think I’m already starting to hate you! 😉
